Indication
Prasugrel is used with aspirin by patients with heart disease (recent heart attack, unstable angina) who undergo a certain heart procedure (angioplasty). This medication helps to prevent other serious heart/blood vessel problems (such as heart attacks, strokes, blood clots in stents).
