Indication
Amantadine is an antidyskinetic medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (also known as “paralysis agitans” or “shaking palsy”) and its symptoms, including dyskinesia (sudden uncontrolled movements). It may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines (e.g., levodopa) for the management of Parkinson’s disease.
