Indication

It has been shown to prevent ischemic stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular disease and has demonstrated its clinical efficacy superior to that of aspirin. Thus, clopidogrel is indicated for the patients with atherosclerosis documented by recent stroke, recent myocardial infarction, or cardiovascular disease.
