Indication
Gliclazide belongs to a group of medicines called sulfonylureas, which are used to lower blood sugar levels. Gliclazide tablets are prescribed for the treatment of maturity-onset diabetes in patients whose condition is not controlled by diet alone. They are not suitable for use in children or in patients with diabetes requiring insulin.
