Indication
Gliclazide is part of a group of medicines called sulfonylureas, which help lower blood sugar levels. Gliclazide tablets are used to treat maturity-onset diabetes in patients whose condition cannot be managed by diet alone. These tablets are not suitable for use in children or for patients with diabetes requiring insulin.
