Indication
Gliclazide belongs to a group of medicines called sulfonylureas, which are used to lower blood sugar levels. Gliclazide tablets are prescribed to treat maturity-onset diabetes in patients whose condition cannot be adequately managed through diet alone. These tablets are not intended for use in children or for patients with diabetes requiring insulin.
