Indication
Gliclazide belongs to a group of medicines called sulfonylureas, used to lower blood sugar levels. It is prescribed for the treatment of maturity-onset diabetes in patients whose condition cannot be adequately managed by diet alone. These tablets are not suitable for children or for patients with diabetes requiring insulin.
